CEDIA EXPO - Denver, CO - September 4, 2008 - Stewart Filmscreen Corporation®, the industry leader in precision projection screen technologies for residential and commercial markets announces the launch of the Oasis screen, a new addition to their line of electronically controlled retractable screens.
Based on the Luxus Model A Electriscreen (LX/LXC Models), the weather-resistant Oasis is designed specifically for outdoor use to address the growing trend in outdoor living that includes sophisticated entertainment centers. The screen is resistant to corrosion and other outdoor elements. Capable of creating an exciting, upcale outdoor living space, the Oasis provides a larger outdoor viewing surface, with sizes up to 92”h x 124"w, which is significantly larger than weather-resistant LCD TVs and monitors that are currently available.
Like all Stewart screens, the Oasis can be custom manufactured for a client's specific requirements including screen size and aspect ratio. The screen housing is available in black or white, and any of Stewart's front or rear projection materials may be used.
Stewart's exclusive Tab-Guy™ tensioning system ensures a smooth and completely flat screen surface while matte black over-scan borders provide a perfectly masked image area. Using the latest quiet motor technology, the Oasis is silently raised and lowered with a 3-1/4” diameter roller tube outfitted with a sound-dampening insulated screen drive. The Oasis can be mounted to the wall or ceiling, whichever is most appropriate for a particular application.
Stewart Filmscreen is synonymous for superior quality, custom craftsmanship and long, trouble-free product life. As every Stewart product is handcrafted, custom sizes & configurations are easily accommodated. Contact your local Stewart representative today and let us build one for you!
The Oasis screen from Stewart can be seen at CEDIA in Booth #549 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver from September 4-7. The Oasis is currently available. Pricing is variable and dependent on screen size.
