São Paulo, Brazil (May 5, 2016) – Christie®, a leader in creating and delivering the world’s best visual and audio experiences, will present a broad lineup of displays and visual solutions for every Pro AV application at TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Brazil 2016, which will take place at the São Paulo Expo, May 10-12.
“Christie is a leader in innovative AV technology and the show will be a great opportunity to see our products for creating captivating visual experiences for business, retail and control room environments, as well as finding technology suitable for events and rental staging,” said Clayton Brito, Christie’s Country Manager in Brazil. “Visitors will find at our booth 206 multiple solutions for every budget and application,” he added.
One of the main highlights of Christie’s stand will be a projection mapping demonstration in a stunning 3D clock tower display using the new Christie Boxer 2K30 projectors managed by Christie Pandoras Box media servers – a perfect match for rental staging and events. This will mark the debut of the Christie Boxer 2K30 in the Brazilian market since its official launch in January 2016. The Christie Boxer 2K30 is 4K upgradeable and delivers unrivaled brightness, durability and flexibility for its size and weight. Omnidirectional, the Boxer Series is a powerhouse projector line designed for high-impact rental staging and large venue events.
Widely known as a cost-effective turnkey solution that perfectly unites state-of-the-art rendering technology with intuitive media and show control, the award-winning Pandoras Box system features the most powerful render-engine offering real-time compositing in 3D, allowing for projection onto any shape and any surface. It is the ideal choice for any live event, projection mapping or multi-media show. Besides being flexible and user-friendly, it can be set up as a standalone playback device, network playback client, or in console mode for direct DMX Control.
Christie Pandoras Box will also manage content displayed on a mini clock tower with the Christie DWU600-G. Featuring high brightness with a variety of Pro AV features, the Christie G Series of 1DLP® projectors are ideal for boardrooms and conference rooms, education, houses of worship and other small venues. Its single-lamp design lowers the cost of ownership without compromising image quality, while the standard six-segment color wheel offers maximum brightness.
Also from Christie’s lineup of 1DLP® lamp projectors, two Christie D12WU-H will be displaying a blended projection with the Christie Spyder X20, a versatile hardware-based video processor combined with the flexibility of a universal routing switcher. Its integrated source monitoring enables simultaneous, real-time, full frame rate monitoring of all inputs. The Spyder X20 provides users with a 20-megapixel bandwidth to blend, window, mix, and scale any source format and then routes the signal to any destination device or combination of display devices – quickly and easily.
Christie Captiva ultra short throw 1DLP® laser phosphor projectors will also be on display. These super-quiet projectors provide 20,000 hours of high performance lamp-free operation with the ability to achieve full brightness within seconds and move instantaneously into standby mode with no cool down period. The Christie Captiva Series allows customers to create and share unique user experiences whether it's in the classroom, conference room or retail environment.
Visitors to the Christie booth will also have a chance to see the Christie D Series of 3LCD projectors for fixed install and rental staging applications. Featuring brightness ranges of 6000-8000 lumens with a single lamp and an optional 0.38:1 Ultra Short Throw lens, the Christie D Series with 10:000:1 contrast ratio boasts one of the brightest single lamps in the market offering XGA, WXGA and WUXGA high resolution. Specifically on display will be the Christie LWU701i-D.
Also at the booth, Christie will showcase a range of display solutions, including a side-by-side demonstration of a 2 x 2 configuration of Christie Entero HB 50-inch SXGA+ LED cube and a 2 x 2 configuration of Christie FHD551-XB 55-inch LCD panel – manufactured in Brazil. Both are ideal for 24/7 critical viewing applications including control room video walls.
Managing video, audio, and data on these displays will be the Christie Phoenix® system. A network streaming solution at its core, Christie Phoenix allows users to collaborate, synthesize and generate fast and accurate decisions in even the most critical situations, while the Christie Phoenix Quad-T can be installed in a Phoenix network anywhere it is needed to control and encode real-time information sources.
Visitors at Christie’s booth will also have the chance to admire the versatility of the company’s LED digital display technology with a Christie® MicroTiles® 1 x 5 tower. Christie MicroTiles are the ultimate digital canvas for delivering amazing image quality, and vibrant, true-to-life colors in almost any shape and size.
Christie will also feature the Christie Brio meeting room solution that allows users to virtually meet, share information and collaborate effortlessly, while overcoming geographical distances and eliminating the challenge of single and multi-site workplace meetings.
