ANAHEIM, CALIF. (June 23, 2011) – Premier Mounts (www.mounts.com), a leading manufacturer of A/V mounts, carts & stands, and accessories, is proud to announce that two of its products, the GB-MS2, a tilting flat-panel mount with integrated media storage space, and the SHLF-VE, an adjustable A/V shelving system, received awards at InfoComm 2011, one of the largest A/V tradeshows in the world. The awards, presented by Systems Contractor News magazine and Rental & Staging magazine, illustrate Premier Mounts’ position as one of the leading developers of mounting products in the A/V industry.
The ultrathin and adjustable A/V shelving system (SHLF-VE) was named “Most Innovative Audio/Video Conferencing Product” by the 2011 SCN/InfoComm Installation Product Awards because of its innovative and user-friendly design. This video conferencing & equipment shelf system for Premier Mounts’ P-Series flat-panel mounts can be used for placing a video conferencing camera above a wall-mounted flat-panel display and A/V equipment or computers below it.
The SHLF-VE’s ultra-low profile design and simple cable management improve the appearance of the display and equipment. Slots in the sides of the A/V shelves are designed for attaching straps to the equipment for added security.
The tilting storage mount for flat-panels (GB-MS2) was named “Best General AV Product” by the 2011 Rental & Staging Systems/InfoComm Product Awards because it securely holds a flat-panel while discreetly storing a PC media device behind the display.
The GB-MS2 is extremely versatile with the ability to mount to walls, floor stands, carts and ceiling adapters. This feature-packed mount also offers three vertical height mounting options for carts and stands and provides built-in lateral shift for flexible flat-panel placement. The integrated equipment storage GearBox™ holds equipment and cabling discreetly behind the flat-panel.
“Being recognized with these awards is an honor,” said Lee Dodson, President of Premier Mounts. “Our new line of low-profile A/V shelves and tilting storage flat-panel mount are examples of how we are taking the basic concept of a simple mount forward with A/V specific accessories and adaptations.”
