IVR/ Tokyo – (June 25, 2014) – Christie®, a global leader in visual display solutions, is showcasing its industry-leading visual and collaborative solutions at the 22nd 3D & Virtual Reality Expo (IVR), at Tokyo Big Sight, Japan’s largest exhibition for 3D technology and high definition image technology, from June 25-27, 2014.

The main highlight of Christie’s booth at East Hall 3-20 is a visually-stunning demonstration of the high performance Christie Mirage 4K35 DLP® 3D projector displaying 4K (4096 x 2160 resolution) contents on a massive 200-inch power wall. Delivering the highest DLP® resolution on the market today, the Mirage 4K35 is based on Christie’s unique TruLife electronics that offer unprecedented image fidelity, life-like, vibrant colors and up to 35,000 lumens for the brightest 3D immersive experience. Equipped with Xenon®-based illumination for the most natural color accuracy, uniformity and stability over time, the Mirage 4K35 is also the world’s first and only DLP® 4K projector that provides 120Hz performance.

Featuring three Christie G Series 1-chip DLP® projectors delivering projection mapping on an Audi R8 sports car, the visually-arresting display is specifically targeted at designers and engineers to illustrate what they imagine can become reality. The Interactive Design Studio is supported by 30 Christie® MicroTiles® as well as leading-edge warping, blending and imaging techniques to create a gorgeous and changeable backdrop.

Another highlight of the Christie booth is the stunning 84-inch Christie® QuadHD84 LCD panel featuring Quad HD resolution (3840 x 2160) and true 60Hz refresh update rate for a natural display performance without judder or blurring. Targeted at users that require high brightness and high quality visual solutions for fixed installations or rental staging applications, the Christie QuadHD84 offers an easily deployable and affordable high-definition display solution. It is perfect for presenting complex, detailed data for visualization, delivering powerful presentations or accurately monitoring and collaborating in decision-making situations.

Taking digital display technology to a new level is the award-winning Christie MicroTiles, which are presented in an array of six units wide by six units high, featuring the Christie Interactivity Kit which is equipped with a motion sensor that allow users to control displayed contents with hand gestures. Built on proven DLP® technology and specifically designed for superior image quality in demanding indoor, high-ambient light environments, Christie MicroTiles offer users the freedom to interact and is perfect for users from various industries that require a stunning visual display to showcase their products and at the same time create a unique experience for their potential consumers. The breakthrough design of Christie Interactivity Kit enables multiple users to interact simultaneously with content on Christie MicroTiles by transforming it into a multi-touch surface.

The ability of Christie solutions to integrate beautifully, easily and economically into any space is fittingly presented at the Thinklogical Demo Area. Featuring the slim and elegant Christie FHD651-P 65-inch LCD panel, it offers superior performance, excellent energy efficiency and commercial-grade reliability. With full HD image quality, 1.07 billion colors, and a contrast ratio of 4,000: 1, the Christie FHD651-P is poised to draw the crowds with an engaging showcase of video contents from Thinklogical and Christie.

Rounding out the dazzling product showcase is the versatile Christie Brio, which is designed to meet the requirements of users requiring multi-location collaboration. It allows users to virtually meet, share information and collaborate effortlessly, overcome geographical distances, and eliminate the collaboration challenges posed by single and multi-site workplace meetings. Once connected to Christie Brio, users are able to conduct presentations virtually and collaborate in real-time while displaying high-quality uncompressed 1080p video sources within a meeting room, or stream video between sites at up to 30 frames per second (fps). Three Christie Brio nodes set up at the booth will simulate conference calls between three different locations to demonstrate its powerful capabilities of sharing audio, high-definition video, whiteboards, and more to achieve better decisions, faster.
