Contemporary Research Releases Display Express 3.5 Display Control Software
Posted on Thursday, January 8, 2009
Contemporary Research is pleased to announce Display Express 3.5, a new version of their display control software with significant, new capabilities. Features include Multi-Step control presets, Multi-Site operation, and new scheduling features. The Web-based software manages display control systems, and can integrate over a thousand displays through existing broadband cable. As system designers have discovered, HDTV is the most effective delivery medium for large-scale digital signage distribution.Display Express is a perfect partner for adding display management over RF.
With Multi-Step presets, a user can combine a number of display control presets into one. One button click can now turn on several groups of displays in a timed sequence, or send a series of commands to displays after a timed delay. Multi-Site operation adds the ability to communicate to a number of separate display systems, each driven by an Ethernet Head End – within one facility or across the county. The new software streamlines scheduling for those who manage many events, and adds Telnet commands for integrated operation with custom control systems.
