AURORA, OH:
Network Technologies Inc (NTI) today announced the addition of the 4-port USB
2.0 Extender via CAT5e/6/6a/7 to its popular line of USB Extenders. The USB
Extender extends four USB 2.0 devices up to 165 feet.
The USB2-C5-4LC

security cameras, printers, scanners, keyboards, etc., up to 165 feet using a
single CAT5e/6/6a/7 cable. Each extender consists of a local unit that connects
to a computer, and a remote unit that connects to the USB devices. The local
and remote units are interconnected via CAT5e/6/6a/7 cable.
The extender
supports high-speed (480 Mbps), full-speed (12 Mbps), or low-speed (1.5 Mbps)
USB devices with transparent data extension for USB touch screen monitor
support. Compliant with USB 2.0 standards, the unit also supports plug-and-play
specifications with no drivers required. The extender is compatible with PCs or
laptops running on Windows XP/7/Vista/8 or Mac OS.
With compact
dimensions of 3.75x2.68x0.92 in (95x68x23 mm) for both the local and remote
units, the extender provides an ideal solution for extending multiple USB 2.0
devices.
