Up or Down Convert PC Signals with Two Inexpensive AV Toolbox Products
AV Toolbox has released two new inexpensive products, the AVT-3310 will up convert to a PC signal from a CV or S-Video source while the AVT-3155 will down convert from a PC to CV or S-Video.
ERLANGER, KY, September 3, 2008—AV Toolbox has added two inexpensive, compact conversion products the AVT-3310 Video Scaler and AVT-3155 Down Converter. The AVT-3310 allows you to view Composite Video and S-Video in high resolution on a PC Monitor while the AVT-3155 converts computer signals to standard analog video. Both units are available for immediate shipment.
The AVT-3310 has both Composite Video and S-Video inputs that can be up converted to SVGA, XGA or SXGA. It works with almost any video signal in either NTSC or PAL standards. The output resolution is switch selectable. Advanced features include Motion Adaptive Y/C Separation of Composite Video (3D Comb Filtering), Motion Adaptive 3D YNR/CNR Noise Reduction for YC Video Input and Automatic 2:2 and 3:2 Film Mode Detection. The AVT-3310 has a suggested retail price of $99.
The AVT-3155 converts computer signals to standard analog video that is simultaneously provided in Composite and S-Video formats, selectable as either NTSC or PAL. Its’ settings are controlled via top panel push-buttons. The small size of the AVT-3155 makes it ideal for use with laptops or desktop computers. It handles resolutions up to 1600x1200 at 60Hz vertical refresh rate. The AVT-3155 has a suggested retail price of $149.
