ATLANTA, GA – JANUARY 11, 2011 – Visix, Inc., a leading digital signage software provider, is now accepting entries for the 2011 Expression Awards. The company launched the annual contest in 2008 to recognize the best visual content from end-users of its AxisTV digital signage software application. Awards will be given in the following categories:
• Best Still Design
• Best Motion Design
• Best Screen Design
“We’ve seen both the quality of entries and the number of participants grow each year,” says Deborah DeWitt, Marketing Communications Manager for Visix. “For 2011, we’re offering better prizes, have reduced the number of categories, and have made the entry process simpler. We’ve also tried to better align the entry period with school calendars for our higher education customers.”
DeWitt continues, “Our judges will concentrate on content designs that include calls to action and/or interactivity. We feel it’s essential to not just communicate information, but to prompt audiences to take the next step. We hope these awards not only recognize and reward our customers’ work, but also inspire other clients to higher achievement in digital signage design.”
Visix is accepting entries through April 29, 2011. Three finalists will be selected in each category and winners will be announced on June 7, 2011. Expression Award winners will receive:

• A mounted, personalized Expression Award
• Recognition in Visix's e-newsletter, website and press release announcing winners
• Featured publication of the winning entry on the Visix User Forum
